What to do in the event of a Property Damage Claim
- Take any action you can to prevent further damage, but do not place yourself at risk
- Report any incident of Theft or Malicious Damage to the Police, and ensure you obtain a Crime Reference Number
- Take photos of any damage
- Make the premises secure – do not leave the premises unattended if your usual security devices are not in place and functioning correctly, or any part of the premises is not physically secure

- Tell us about any incident or claim, even where you have notified your insurer direct
